Smoke exhaustion is a key element of a building's ventilation system, which aims to evacuate the combustion products resulting from a fire inside the building.

Smoke, vapors and toxic gases are extracted through a rectangular tube, separately integrated into the ventilation system.

Certification obtained following test results validating the 2-hour fire resistance of service installations of a single-compartment flue.

TEST METHOD

EN 13501-4

Certification for the results of the fire resistance tests of the components of the entire smoke exhaustive system.

SR EN 12101-7

The marking standard that certifies the resistance of the smoke and heat control system through the smoke exhaust duct.

Smoke extraction ducts met the performance criterion

According to certificates E600 120S 1500all the components of the rectangular exhaust system were tested and certified as having the level of tightness class D which attests to the quality of the product.

After thorough testing smoke exhaustion ducts by KronVent, produced on FIRMAC line and equipped with integrated flange CGF-30, achieved outstanding results in terms of fire, smoke and heat resistance.

The smoke exhaustive duct has been tested under pressure level M3, according to the following table:

The complete smoke exhaust system is only certified if all the components are found in its use such as integrated flange, tight seal, ceramic strip gasket, steel stiffeners, threaded rods and dowels.
